Welcome to Weller Cottage Books. I'm Christine Stevenson and I live and work in Weller Cottage. The original two roomed brick Georgian style cottage was built in 1850 and is listed on Geelong's Heritage Register. Twenty years ago it was neglected and condemned as uninhabitable. Since then the cottage has been restored and an extention added.

I hope to show you from time to time, through the newsletter page, more pictures of Weller Cottage and tell you a little of its history.

The books on the web site are mostly second-hand, although occasionally some new titles will be offered.

We all make an effort to recycle and reuse and what could be better than a recycled book? There is something special about reading a book that someone else has read and perhaps written their thoughts in the margin, or maybe left a bookmark. There might be a greeting from an aunt to a niece or nephew, or a bookplate identifying it as a school prize. A second-hand book has a personality that a new one will only acquire with time and love.
